EAGA Gospel Choir joined Leicester Hospitals Charity's renowned Christmas Carol Service on the 11th of December 2025. This year was special as ITV News was present to feature the event live just before the concert started.

While the Charity, the Leicester Cathedral, and Pastor Samuel Gapara representing the choir gave succinct speeches about the concert and the meaning of Christmas, the choir sang in the background, 'Joy to the World' permeating the festive atmosphere. We then finished off the ITV News feature with our rendition of "Hark the Herald Angels sing".

The evening then kicked off with the concert, which included a variety of performances from the Leicester Grammar School’s Big Band and the talented children of Inglehurst Junior School, winners of the 2025 Leicestershire Music Service Choir Award.

We were the final performers of the night and gave an electrifying presentation of songs which ended with getting the audience out of their seats with dance and song. It was surely a festive night of music and fun.

The proceeds will be used to improve the current parent facilities and create a new private lounge at Leicester Children's Hospital. This will allow Parents to stay close, rest, and gather strength to support their critically ill children.
