| 16) |
Why do you wear hats?
We wear hats because our God commands us
when we pray to cover our head/hair (which
is our glory) in honour to Him who deserves
all of the glory and honour. For no flesh
shall glory in God's presence. (See: 1 Corinthians
11: 1-16 and 1Corinthians 1:29) The Lord
Jesus also commands us that we ought always
to pray and not to faint, and also to pray
without ceasing. Therefore we cover our
heads at all times. (See: 1 Thessalonians
5:17, Luke 18:1).
|
|
| 17) |
Why do you wear skirts?
We wear skirts because we believe as woman
we should not wear clothing that pertains
to a man or makes a woman look like a man
i.e. trousers (See: Deuteronomy 22:5) Also,
appropriate skirts do not show off a woman's
shape but ensure she is modest in her appearance
and is not seeking to attract men with her
body. (See: 1 Timothy 2:9) Trousers are not
appropriate for two reasons: 1. Tight trousers
or jeans expose a woman's shape and nakedness.
Some say "what about the smart ones that
are not tight"? 2. They are still garments
that pertain to a man. Therefore it is an
abomination unto God for His women to wear
them.
|
|
| 18) |
Why do you wear black and white?
Black and white are two colours that carry
a message of power and unity. Furthermore
we have been instructed by Jesus Christ
to wear these two colours for one of our
main uniforms.
