Rt Hon. Harriet Harman visits leicester for launch of Campaign Bus |

Leicester has been chosen by the Labour Party for the national launch of a Campaign Bus.
Harriet Harman MP, Deputy Leader of the Labour Party, Chair of the National Labour Party and Leader of the House of Commons, has been in Leicester to launch its national Campaign Bus.
Ms Harman, who is also the Minister for Equality, visited Green Lane Road where she met with local residents and officially unveiled the bus.
The bus will travel around the country visiting Britain’s largest cities. It will visit community events, workplaces and voluntary organisations to campaign in the run up to the European and local elections later this year.
Leicester East MP Keith Vaz, Chairman of the Party’s Ethnic Minority Task Force and recently re-elected Member of the National Executive of the Labour Party said;
‘I’m delighted that Harriet Harman has chosen to launch the Campaign Bus here in Leicester, the heart of England. The bus looks fantastic and will be a great addition to our campaigning activities.’
